Resolved 2g FWD brake upgrade...

Whats up guys, well i have to change the pads/rotors on my 2g GST FWD but i was looking into upgrading the calipers while at it. I really don't want to spend a whole lot of money on big brake upgrades cause I don't do any sort of autox or anything like that. I noticed on the VFAQ, about taking the brakes from a 94+ AWD Eclipse, 93+ FWD Stealth/3000gt, or a 92-96 Diamante.

Heres my question, I swing by a junkyard this morning (were I found a complete 6 bolt with turbo and all for $300 which I will be getting) and i noticed a Diamante, checked the calipers and they seem to be the right ones but when I checked the manufactured date just to be sure, it said Sept 91. I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not those calipers would work on my 2g FWD? I will be changing the rotors and all that good stuff to new Brembo's for a 2g AWD if i can find the calipers. Lemme know if anyone knows if they'll fit. Thanks for the help..

everything will bolt on, but for a 2G the brake lines will be different. you'll have to get them custom made.

Mark, you don't think the Diamante lines will fit? I found that the Stealth lines fit my car, with a small amount of tweaking at the knuckle bracket.
