Resolved 2G Front Crossmember bolt sizes

Hello everyone, I just joined here and this is my first post.

I just replaced the clutch on my 95 GSX and have been bolting everything back together. Working out side in the cold (including snow) I have mixed up/misplaced bolts. I need to know the bolt sizes for the two bolts that hold the front of the cross-member to the radiator support.

I say get a used one at a junk yard off the part you need. Im not sure what size it is though just take it to fastenal they will measure it.

I'm in Queens also and my engine and trans are out, post a picture of the bolts you have and I'm pretty sure I'll be able to identify them after checking my stash.

They would be the biggest ones you have, about 4 inches long, pointed tip, and a big metal washer built onto the shoulder.

Thanks, I thought those were them but somehow I thought they were kind of long.

M12 x 1.25mm pitch x 90 mm long, flange-type bolts with -- as stated -- the coned tip.

I believe he is looking for these... MB176061 . If its the same as the original thread anyway. I myself just tried to order new oem ones and could not find any. Thought I had some lined up from amayama but after I ordered them they cancelled that item on the order and slapped it with the good ol out of production cause. So, I had my original ones media blasted and then re-zinc coated and all good to go now. May be the best bet with these unless someone else has another option they know of.

your right you cant order the actual bolt, but you cn order the collar, the Rubber grommet, and the washer/seat. i just drilled the collar out to slide over a 1/2 inch/1.75 bolt.

Did you re-tap the inner threads to accept the 1.75 bolt or did you force screw it on?

EDIT: Doesn't matter. I ended up cleaning the threads with a Metric M12x1.25 tap then got the bolts up nice and tight at 88Nm.
