I got my car stickerd the other day my mech told me to get some control arms because they were shot so i have the parts in now is this a hard job to do at home ? is there a how to? also if any one knows there is a blue cap on one and a white cap on the other dose any one know which is left and which is the right side or are they the same

replacing control arms is easy. Just don't forget to get an alignment. I've seen both aftermarket and OEM arms and both were clearly labeled with an L for left and R for right.

Which arms are you replacing, the control arms or the compression arms? If it's the control arms there's no excuse for non-OEM parts as they're like 30 bucks a pop. Compression arms are a different story - but I still regret getting the cheap compression arms as the boots are far more fragile and cracked within a month, no leaks but cracked. They do the job, just not a great job.

I have to.... If they were smart they would throw a stock 1g engine in and call it good. Best of both worlds, reliable, and its not a snail LOL

ok after all this crap on my post back on topic

Ive never had this happen, but if you make a thread and no responds to it in X amount of days, is it appropriate to bump. When is it ok to bump?

An alignment is a good idea, whether you removed the tie rod ends or not. Possibly more than just a good idea.

i would if i had the $$$ im making 15 hour's a week at 7.75 i also have a motorcycle that i have been using the majority of the time im almost ready to sell my dsm with the 125k it has on it shes just a baby just because i don't use it any more.
