2G 2g FOB Key Case Broke...

So I can't be the only one with this has happened too. My fob keys broke I had 2 of them the actual tech is fine, but the ring for the case snapped off...twice now I'm walking around hoping I won't lose it.
There's gotta be an alternative. I've posted pics of before and after. Both cases broke exactly the same way at the weak point.

Happens over time. Drill a hole and use that for the metal ring. Just make sure you open one first to identify and place that won't hit the board inside.

You mean similar to what I was describing drilling a new hole? Yeah, that's exactly what I meant.

Yep that's what I always do. All my 2G key fobs were broken.

you can have your car rekeyed and get a new key fob. i did it on my ranger and it works great
