2g clutch line

So I've noticed places sell a partial or full braided clutch line (one that goes back to the master). Can someone refresh my memory as to why? Isn't the only flex section at the transmission? Why would I replace the hardline....

In the stock configuration there is an accumulator in the line. The full clutch line allows you to remove that accumulator and just have one braided line between the master and the slave cylinder.

I realize that but you don't need a line to go all the way to the master for that, just a 2.5
Foot section to go to the hard line

A full line bypasses the factory hard line as well. Some DSMs I have seen have been so neglected that all new lines seem like a great idea.

The full clutch line is helpful for those who have damaged OE fittings/lines. Also, the replacement line is helpful when you use a different master cylinder where the OE line would not fit.
