2g Carbon Fiber Doors-Where are they?

I have done searches and looked at the links people have on them. I only found one website that had them discountinued. Does any one know where to find them? I also want a name brand not a ebay version. Thanks a lot!

Right, they designed the first set for a friend of mine in GA. They are gorgeous, and accept the factory panel, glass, handle, etc. This is on a fully caged drag car, these are not intended for street use.

This is the only place that makes actual door replacements, not just "skins".

If you "click" on the smaller pictures below the main one, you'll see some more pictures of the actual door. As stated, they're NOT INTENDED FOR STREET USE. THEY WILL NOT OFFER THE SAME PROTECTION OF THE OEM DOOR.

Just for your own personal knowledge, here is a tid-bit of info about dry carbon fiber that I am aware of:


1. Dry carbon fiber (when correctly manufactured) is three times stronger than regular carbon fiber.
2. Dry carbon fiber (when correctly manufactured) is three times lighter than regular carbon fiber.
3. Dry carbon fiber is much more expensive than regular carbon fiber.
4. If you're looking to replace many parts on the DSM with dry carbon fiber, you are looking at upwards of $50,000+.
5. To keep this in perspective, I assume that the vast majority of DSMers are not willing to shell out that sort of cash for this sort of modification.
6. For the hardcore DSM that only sees road courses or time attacks, this should be seriously considered as a long-term goal (by that I mean buying certain pieces of the car over a long period of time until you are satisfied or deep in debt).
7. If your DSM is aiming to challenge the 2004 HKS Lancer Evolution VIII TRB-02 in the link below, also remember that you would need to buy time in wind tunnel facilities (aka aerodynamics facilities), testing regarding air drag, and so on. Now you're looking at $100,000+.

Here is another site that carries 2nd Gen carbon fiber doors. Lightweight, 12lbs, and cheap too. Hope this helps.
