I am trying to track down some decent OEM motor mounts for my car and I'm wondering if the FWD and AWD mounts are completely interchangeable. From what I've found on google the front, passenger side, and driver side mounts are (same part numbers between FWD and AWD). I can't find anything on the rear one tho - the one connected to the firewall. Can anyone confirm whether its the same or not?

The rear one on my FWD doesnt' connect to the firewall, it conects to the crossmember at teh rear of the engine bay. is that the one you're asking about?

I would assume that all the tranny mounts are the same because you can mod an AWD tranny and put it in your FWD to use it's better gearing and tougher parts. And in all the people i've talked to about this no one has mentioned changing the mounts or any of them not lining up... same goes for the guys that have documented their FWD to AWD conversions.

thanks for the replies. Sounds like I'll be good with mounts from a FWD.
