This may be a rather newbish question so I figured Id post it in here rather than bolt-on tech...
After doing some research ive found that a fair amount of people have cut the metal fuel line under the car when they couldnt break the 19mm/14mm flare fitting loose.
My 14mm nut is stripped and flare nut wrenches just rotate around it with any decent amount of force applied to them...
My main concern is that if I cut the metal lines itll pinch them shut and Ill be stuck trying to get them to be fully open again and also dealing with possible fuel leaks down the road from the rubber/hose clamp fix..
Is it possible to just cut the thicker rubber hose behind the 19mm side? And then just insert some sort of fitting to reconnect the rubber hoses together after?
I cant find anything on here of anyone trying it before and Im a bit hesitant to take the plunge without some reassurance from some people who have been around the dsm block for a lot longer than I have haha
Thanks for any advice/help!
