I'm looking to replace the bushing on my car, and was thinking of getting the Energy Suspension Master bushing set. But wondering if it comes with Subframe bushings? My 1g came with them. But not sure about the 2g. I checked their web site, and it doesn't have part numbers for Subframe, but the master kit shows it covers all of it.

Has anyone gotten the kit? Wondering if its worth it?

For the 2g, no vendor currently makes replacements for the subframe to body mounts (believe this is what your refering too?) You can still get the outer spacers from Mitsu & there are a couple guys makeing solid aluminum "bushings" that press into the subframe, but currently thats the only options.

I have the ES kit & it does the trick. Their abit softer then prothane, which most usually recommend for a daily driver.

Best advise is find someone with a hydraulic press to remove the stockers, they are a major pain. It can be done with a torch & saw but be prepared to take about 5-6 times longer to get it done vs using a press. As far as installation, they go in fairly easily even with the single piece design. I've always used an Arbor press (which is just a mechanical geared press) but a bench vice should do the trick.

The Solid Alum Bushing is only for the rear correct? Anyone make Prothane bushings? I guess the question is Should I bother to replace the stock bushing with ES if they are fine?

Yes Prothane kit comes with some extra bushings, their kit also replaces both inner bushings for both rear lower control arms on each side (so 4 bushings all together) Since the ES kit doesn't come with these, I just bought new stock bushings for this area. Believe the only other additional bushing is where the front shock fork mounts to the lower laterial control arm but it is recommend to not replace this bushing as it will cause shock wear.

The solid aluminum bushings are the bushings that press into the rear subframe itself, no currently no one else makes a urthane version & you can't buy just the bushings from Mitsu.

If your stock bushings are fine, it is alot of work to replace them, but it will tighten things up. So its up to you, if you thinks its worth the labor or not (as the kits, especially the ES, are resonably priced)

Thing is, I have two 2g AWD Cars I'm currently fixing up. And Auto DD for my wife, and a 5Spd DD for my self. I just purchased the ES kit. Should I put that in my wifes car because its softer and she'll be able to tolerate it more? And use the Prothane kit in my car?

As far as amount of work? I already have both front subframe out of the car. So i'm not worried about the amount of worked needed since her car is getting a 6bolt swap.
