Master cylinder question.

I have reviewed how to install the master clutch cylinder and im going to attempt it tomorrow after class, as mine is leaking. However, i do have one question about a post i found searching for tips and any info on installing a master cylinder. Read this post below i found in another thread and tell me what you think of it.

it just frees up the path for the clutch fluid so it's a little nicer pedal feel. the restrictor's hole is really tiny actually, and it's amazing the damn thing is even in there. it's a little spring and plastic triangle thingy found under the banjo bolt. in this picture it's already removed, just showing you where it is.

Does remoiving this "restrictor" hold any real benefits? Please tell me anything about this mod as i have never heard of it and am unsure about altering my master cylinder.

my clutch master went bad and leaking all over my firewall and carpet... i ordered one from summit racing today... im curious now if it makes that much of a difference??

The restrictor is on the SLAVE CYLINDER.
