I just picked up a 99 gsx for a steal with a blown motor. The car is an auto which I just don't personally care for. I currently have a 91 awd talon that will be the donor for the 6 bolt. I was wondering if since I'm already swapping to a 6 bolt, could I just swap the entire cars driveline over? I know certain things will have to come from a 97-99 but what about even just the tranny, tcase, and rear diff? Maybe master cylinder, slave, and fluid res. I know the shift assembly, cables, pedals, etc will have to be 2g. I also know about the 95-96 and 97-99 differences as well but that's why I'm inquiring about swapping the entire driveline so there's no mismatch ratios. If the year diff is the only thing that won't work, could I still do it just using a 95-96rearend? Lastly, if there's any hardcore drag racers out there wanting to trade me with your 5 speed, please just let me know. Thanks in advance for any help!7
Anyone know if this will work? Also, if anyone in the southeast is looking to switch to auto, please get with me. I may even be willing to throw some cash in as an extra motivater.
