I was looking into doing a manual to auto swap on my 1g AWD I did some searching but all I found was auto to manual swap info.

I know I need a auto trans, transfer case, tq converter, shifter linkage, TCU, and Kiggly flex plate. What else would i need to complete this conversion?

Would I have to swap to a auto rear diff as well because of the the different ratios?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Subscribed for info.

If i ever get into seriously dragging this thing, i'm going stalled auto.

I'll try to dig up all the info i found. I ended up selling my 5spd and buying an auto. Its pretty involved. Trans mounts are different, rear diff is a different gear ratio, and there is some spacing issues with the flex plate and stall. The shifter linkage and center counsel is a little different. You can run the roadsurge box and eliminate the tcu for ease in swapping over.

If you had a auto donor car i guess it would be fine, but it may be a chore tracking down everything you need. Then the swap itself is going to take some hours.

i do have a auto donor really would hate to take out my 4 bolt rear. Hopefully there is a way around this
