Hey guys, so I recently had my current AEM v1 EMS go bad, but buddy has one on hold for me at his shop. I was wondering if it was possible to get that same model EMS and just transfer over the tune from my old one to the one I am going to purchase. And if so, how would I go about doing that? I want to do it this way because getting a new EMS would mean I would need to get a new tune, which leads to more money spent than I would like. Thanks!

I have a AEM v1 EMS as well. Do you have any saved files that are the latest? The last time I was at the dyno I made a file and saved it just in case something like this would happen. However if it does crap out I might get the v2, if they even make that still? Do you not have a saved file currently? Can you still connect your laptop to the EMS, and save the current file? If you can then you will be able to download that file to the new EMS and you are done. If you do not have a current file saved on your computer, and still cannot connect to the EMS, then you might be up sxxt creek? Unless some one else might know something I do not? another place to find your answer could be the AEM forum for the EMS. Good luck!
