I'm missing three sensor for my 2g and wondering about two of them. MDP sensor on top of intake and the knock sensor. Anyway to bypass these or are they required? Can't find anywhere so wonderin if anyone knows where to buy new for cheaper than $80 bucks new or ? Thanks

Solution
Junkyards, partouts, or dsmgraveyard as said above.

Not having the MDP will throw a CEL, but can be bypassed if you have DSMLink/ECMLink

A knock sensor is not something I would go without.

Solution
i just did a 6 bolt swap and i put the cyclone intake on and im going to bypass my mdp sensor if u want it u can have it. i have a 1g knock sensor that came off my block if it will be of use to u u can have it as well.

but the knock sensor will screw into the back of your block under your intake and right across from the starter if thats what ## asking

The Mdp sensor lets the ecu know if the EGR valve is working corectly. you can delete this just make sure that u block the vacum hole thats on top of you intake manifold where the mdp use to be. you will throw a cel light. and as deflater said you do not want to run with out the knock sensor. and it is located on the back of your block under your inatke mani. that is where it is screwd into the block. im not sure if the 1g and 2g knock sensor's are the same. but i have a good 2g one that i will give you if the 1g is not the same. just let me know.
