Chilliwack,
Just bought a 96 talon esi for a commuter and turns out the a/c compressor clutch is bent so its seized (must have hit something) But It sucks driving without power steering. Is there a way to run the power steering without getting another a/c compressor. shorter belt? any info would be awesome.

It is possible to bypass the ac compressor. Give the part store a call and see if they have a listing for a non-ac powersteering belt. If they do not, take a piece of string and route it like you would the belt. This will give you the proper length belt. If you give them the length of the belt, and they know what they are doing, they should be able to find you what you need. I used to have guys do this all of the time when I worked at Advance.

If you remove the tensioner pulley, a duralast 400k5 belt is an excellent fit.
