I noticed Wret has 255/35/18 tires on the same size wheels as me (18x8.5 +40). Does anyone and Wret have detailed/good pictures of these tires on their wheels and on their car?
How much camber are you running?
How much fender rolling did you do?
What brand and style of tire is it?

The 255/35/18's on my car were Nexen N3000, highly recommended as a budget street performance tire. I think the last four sets of tires I put on the car were progressively larger. Until the last set, I would have said (and probably did) that fattest possilbe street tire for a 2g was 245. Instinct told me 255's would not fit, math told me they would. Math won. With about 1.5° negative camber, the rear wheels tuck with about 2mm to spare. Fender flange only is rolled; no agressive rolling of the fender lip. There is also about 2mm clearance between the tire and the knuckle. Actually, this was a great excersize to prove that a +40mm offset wheel is the perfect center of the wheel well for a 2g.

The wheels are 18 x 8.5, +40mm offset. I don't have any phots specifically taken to show the tires but if you look at my gallery, the two most recent photos (with the palm trees) are of the car while it had 255's on it.

They're still on as far as I know but the car is no longer mine.
