250HP 3G Eclipse?

I was talking to a friend the other day, and he said he read something about a (stock) 3G eclipse that came with 250HP. I was reluctant to believe it, because I've never heard anything about it. Later, I thought about it, and I began wondering if it was true.

One car that came to mind is the Grand Prix GTX. They aren't advertised at all, even on GM's site, and I thought they were a hoax until I actually saw one several months back.

Maybe it's something like that? There is a 250HP eclipse but it's not very popular?

Or maybe I'm just retarded.
