I bought a SBR bastard 20g and it boost creeps and holds at 25psi. My motor has 15k miles on it, I dont even feel like changing any parts anymore (i mean i dont want to install a a 34mm flapper). Im going to try putting on a 14b/16g actuator to see if that helps at all, but if it doesnt, then Im just gonna tune it at 25psi. Ive read people using stock head studs and pump gas running 25 psi and being fine, but what does everyone think?

Im running a chipped EPROM so my timing is capped at 19 degrees, using an SAFC and PTE 680cc injectors. I will be getting a wideband soon, so please everybody dont yell at me to get a wideband.

If the wg are is adjustable make sure its getting full movement open cause I believe you shouldn't be creeping with that. Maybe the wg arm is too tight.

25 PSI on stock 6-bolt head bolts is fine as long as you don't have any knock. I run 27 PSI on my stock head bolts and gasket just fine. Pump gas is more prone to knocking, so be careful there. I run 50/50 methanol injection to keep the 91 octane we have here in CA from blowing up my motor.

GET A WIDEBAND!!! No just kidding but yes as you already know you really do need a wideband. I personally think you are definitely going to reach too high of intake temps on your stock intercooler. And also wondering if your fuel pump will be able to produce the needed fuel to run that boost. Unless you have other mods you have forgotten to mention. But I ran into the same problem with my evo 3 16g. Heatsoaking the stock intercooler (only running 17PSI). So I can imagine the problems you will run into at that boost. I would say you will be alright as far as the head bolts are concerned. Hope this helps.

Yea stock IC only run 18psi max and that is already heat soaked. You can get a FMIC for the same price a water injection. Are you running 25psi on stock ICP too? and stock BOV?

Like stated if you are not getting any knock you will be ok. But with that much timing and boost on that turbo I would be carefull. It sounds like you may get some knock with that tune so watch what you doing.

No I am running a pretty big FMIC so intake temps arent concerning me, the only thing concerning me is blowing a head gasket from stock head studs stretching too much. I figured if I tune for no knock until I get a wideband then it should be fine with pump gas. Also I have a AFPR and wally 255 so fuel isnt my concerns either. Also I have a Forge BOV.

Running 24psi on a bastard 20g with a fmic, 190 pump, 550s, 2g mas, and a 40% e85 (e70 right now) mix. No wideband, idc's well over 100% I'm sure, haven't logged them. And a bone stock 132k motor.

Not saying that it's good, or maybe not even common. But your fuel mods should support it and the headstuds will too, especially through spring when the temps aren't that high.

I've ran as much as 30 psi on this bone stock 6 bolt, stock head bolts and headgasket...but I run E85.

Your only worry should be the octane and knock!
