I've tried looking around and couldn't find anything so I figured I would ask. Since you cant run mtbe oxygenated fuels with 2150s are you stuck with pump/meth injection and or e85? Do they have a race gas you can use with these injectors? Trying to figure out my opinions and I'm not very fuel savvy. I looked on vps sight but idk what I'm looking at ha ha Anyone with personal experience with these injectors running something other than stated?

I run straight c16. You just can't run any fuel with MTBE (oxyginated) as far as i know. I'll always ise c16 it's liquid magic

And i run fic2150's

Alright thanks. That's what I'm looking for. I didn't understand all the different fuel types. So factory fuel system can run c16? I don't need different fuel filter or lines right?

I run factory fuel filter at the moment and lines from the walbro 255

I stripped my fuel filter flare bolt so i can't get it off anymore LOL.
But i was gonna replace it with a fuel lab filter and -8 feed

Itll clog a cat and prematurely kill o2 sensors

I'm curious who else is running straight race gas on 2150s also, apparently I'm one of the only few but havnt had a problem yet.

Alright. I'm not worried about a cat since I don't have one. You gotta pay to play so 02 sensors wont bother me either. I've been looking into a filter and -6 feed. I think -8 is a little over kill for me. Thanks for the input bro.

I was curious about running race gas through those too...I bought them for new build too but not in yet and after I bought them I saw that too. I was worried about running race gas too. How long you been running those with race gas urban?

OP: just fyi -6an feed lines would be fractionally bigger than your stock feed line. If your going to spend the money you might as well actually get an upgrade like -8an feed line

That's good to know. I was looking at stm kit but I would have to get a new sending unit. They have the double pumper which would be nice but more more money ha ha

maybe someone else will chime in on this urbansmoker1. 2 days isn't very long LOL I'm going to call fic Monday and see what they say.

CAUTION! The internal construction of this 2150cc/min injector includes a seal that has been found to swell when in contact with MTBE from oxygenated fuels like Q16 or VP Import. This swelling causes a significant reduction in flow through the injector and therefore renders it unsuitable for use with MTBE oxygenated fuels. Please be sure to follow the care instructions for these injectors since there are potential corrosion issues that may arise from prolonged disuse while exposed to alcohol based fuels (E85, etc.)

That's what their website says.

I think the c16 don't have the same stuff in it as the q16?

Pretty sure urban running the c16 wouldn't have the same effect on the injectors to cause the premature failure of the seal.

Actually the STM kit comes with an adapter fitting to go from your oem rubber line that comes off the sending unit and goes under the car. That way u just screw the adapter fitting into your oem rubber line and then run your -8an lines to the rail :thumb:... or for max flow you can get their nice full blown fuel hangar LOL

Correct, C16 is non oxygenated.

Thats only for -6 the thing that worjs with oem sending unit.

Theres a place here called pro fuels at the track and they have a verity if race fueks and i asked if their fuel contained mtbe and was oxyginated and they didn't even know. They said "all our fuels are oxyginated even the 94" Thats when i said f you guys I'm giving VP my money.
