20k miles Maintanence ??

hey guys, i did a little searching and didnt come up with much, i belive thier wasnt anything in the manual but......
i bought my car privately from some guy with 15,000 miles.... i am currently 400 miles shy from 20,000

is thier anything i should be serving on my car? now, or soon ?

Check the owner's manuel, I know there is stupid shit like flush the radiator and change the oil, but nothing major until 60k.

I would change the spark plugs every 20,000 miles or so, change the gear oil or automatic transmission fluid (whichever you have) every 12,000 miles, change the oil every 3,000 miles, and rotate the tires every 6,000 miles.

as far as the 60,000 mile stuff i wouldnt wait till then. If i were you i would change the timing belt , tensioners, seals , water pump etc at about 40,000- 45,000 miles. Even though your car is low on mileage, all of those rubber componenets are still 6 years old and are aging. Hope I helped ya out.

Yeah, DEFINITELY change your tranny fluid.

there is a 30K checkup or at least in my manual there is. it includes alot of inspections of belts, tune up, oil change, tranny fluid and other things of that nature. hope that helps

So you change your timing belt and related parts every 40k waste imo.
