20G or L1R? Wich one to buy?

Nice Sean, that is what we need. Real world experience with the L1R. I am looking forward to the review as well. Anyone else running one?

After reading it I felt like calling up AGP and giving them my credit card number and bust a $1300+ (+wastegate etc) hole in it... but then I read this thread about the 20g again... and I'm back in the 20g saddle...

Why, you say?

For the simple reason that the 20g runs the same 1/4 miles (which is where i do my racing.. not so much autocrossing) AND it's way cheaper!.. I can spend the other cash on supporting mods and tuning..

Who knows tho... I may get rich next year and jump on an L2R, which seems to be the real big dog!.. Similar spool-up of a 20g, but just an insane top end!.. and only 100 bux more than the L1R....

I guess it all depends what you want.... An autocrossing monster or a drag monster that still does pretty darned well autocrossing and daily driving... Personally, I'm the second person of those two.

All the GT BB turbine wheels have a factory 15^ clip built in. Garrett turbine wheels respond great to clipping. Garrett even clips thier own wheels and offers them under different part numbers w/ and w/o clip.

No problem, I'm just glad to know I'm not getting Alzheimer's or something since I knew I read something about it before. And yeah, I hope to have one on my car too one day. Fast spool with a built-in clip-- sounds like the best of both worlds...
