The only way you can compare in any meaningful way is to take a car, run the 20g, and then swap in the L1R, otherwise there are so many independent factors that the comparison is useless. Use facts, not a rendition of 'Well my mama can...' crap.

The rated air flow is close. Given time, a good tuner, and such, I don't see why it can't go pretty damn fast. I can't say it will go 10's because that would be benchracing.

As far as top end goes, all I can say is that I went 87 mph in the 1/8 mile and ended with 112. That's a 25 mph pull up top on a stock sidemount and stock 2g TB and intake manifold. That's damn good in my book.

I will say that 400hp the the wheels on an AWD is not a matter of 'can it do it', but a matter of 'wait for someone to do it'. Someone will do it. May not be me but someone will.

I will be hitting the track next week. We will see how much over 112 mph I can run with the **minor** improvements since the Fall.

as far as horsepower potential goes...are the 20g and l1r pretty much the same?

16g would probably be 300 at the wheels daily, and 20g/l1r 325-375 at the wheels

That's dumber than a box of rocks. That's right people. NICKYTALON has found the secret. All those thousands of extra parts on a car are inconsequential (That means "doesn't matter" for you Nicky) to what Turbo is on the car. The only thing that has any meaning is the Turbo. Intercooler? Doesn't matter. Cams? Doesn't matter. Tuning? Doesn't matter. Exhaust, clutch, fuel components? Doesn't matter.

It's all about the turbo.

Exactly what I'm wondering! Deciding on the right turbo is so hard now that there are all these great turbos to choose from. 50 trim or L1R? The 20g sounds kinda nice too...
