20g and 650cc injectors

Internal will be fine, you should have the 34mm flapper though. Porting out that area will help tons, along with that bigger opening/door.

You can get those injectors from the vendor for like $20 more. injectorclinic.com I believe. I would never buy something "new" off Ebay unless you were positive they weren't used, i.e. in original sealed packaging. For $20 you can have piece of mind.

Thanks I will be more happy to pay the extra 20 for brand new, but are those good enough?. I know I have a huge turbo, and I'm not trying to max it(right now :p ), just push around 1.5 bars or so 650cc should be fine, correct me if I'm wrong. I have Safc-II, a FMIC, not really huge its about 28, 4, 3 in dimension, or so, not exactly sure since I got that off a local guy for cheap.

Yeah sorry I got caught up on the $ issue. If you have an AFC and an AFPR (and obviously a fuel pump), I'd say there is no reason to not get something larger. I mean, it would suck to be at 95% duty cycle on the 650's and want to be pushing a couple more pounds of boost. For another $20 you can get 750cc, and another $10 you can get 850cc. http://www.fuelinjectorclinic.com/cart/mitsubishi.htm

Yep I got AFPR and pump.. so I guess it woul be worth it to get atleast the 750cc, so I can boost more in the future. Thanks for the info.

Only problem with getting injectors that are over 650cc is the insane amount of timing you will get due to the airflow correction. So by stepping up to 850cc injectors you will have to fight the knock caused by timing. The 660's will get you very far with a 20g. I would suggest them, they are pruven to get people into the 11's.

Ok sounds good, I will take a look into getting those asap. :laser:

I would suggest you do a lot of research into this. Not saying anyone is wrong here, just seems like you are looking for someone to tell you it's ok to run this size injector or that size. If you are going to be running that turbo, you are going to need to do a helluva a lot of research for yourself. Not saying that it's not OK to ask questions here, but rather for peace of mind.

I'm not trying to have someone tell me what to do, I'm getting some info on if it would be fine, from people who have 20g's. No I'm not trying to drag my car out so I don't think I would need as high as 850cc's. And I was going to go with 650cc from the go.

Sorry I didn't mean to be misleading with the bigger injector comments. It would have been much easier to explain in person. You just have to understand there are multiple choices that WILL work, and each one will come with different sacrifices (650s may not cut it if you decide to upgrade again, 850s will cause some issues with timing and tuning) and so on.

I COMPLETELY agree with doing a LOT of research. I was in relatively the same situation as you, and decided to go with smaller injectors, and then eat another couple hundred for bigger ones once I upgraded the turbo. Well a year later and I still haven't gotten a new turbo yet, so I'm glad I didn't take the advice, or I'd have been fighting the bigger injectors for the last 52 weeks.

It's all good, thats why I came here, instead of reading on it(which I've done), I want research by people who are actually using them and can tell me what I should think about when deciding. It's not like I bought a :laser: and said oh I want a fast car, so I buy a big turbo, I know what I'm talking about.

Thanks again.
