I want to know why my brand new 4 day old SS oil feed line from SBR broke in the same exact place as my unknown aged previous ss oil feed line. Any ideas!? Posted are some pics of it.

My guess is because there was not enough slack in the line and the bend was too sharp. It seems that it broke right at the joint between the flexible portion and the unflexible portion. Usually they sell lonk ones for 2G as I have one and its long. I installed it and actually made a bracket so that it will be held in place. Its attached to one of the bolts of the lower heat shield. Maybe get a longet one next time. I got mine from FP.

The older one was significantly longer by at least a few inches. I still agree with what you say though. I just dont understand how *sigh* My gst's was just like this for over a year and was just fine.

call up sbr and tell them its leaking. maybe they will replace it for you. Than if you do get a new one try not to angle it too much. Try to make it as straight as possible at least at that part og the line.
Also the connection at the filter housing should be an elbow not a straight fitting. I looked at your picture and it looks like you have a straight fitting.
EDIT I'm talking about the adapter to screw the ss line to. Get an elbow and that will solve the flex problem. SBR should have given you one with the line.

ah, thats right, I remember using an elbow on the gst. *sigh* When I looked at it, I didnt think it was pinching bad enough to do that. I didnt think it was pinching at all actually. I did email them with the pictures and hopfully after all the money I've spent with them, they will help me with one simple oil line.
