I tried asking this on some of my other thread but I still have not got a answer about it. So im going to make it a separate thread. I already have a 3in Downpipe, need a test pipe (im eliminating my cat) and now am wondering if I should just get a 2.75 catback (about 150 of ebay) or get a 3in (around 200 on ebay) I want to make 400hp over time so would 2.75 be good enough or should i dish out the extra 50-60$ for that extra quarter inch? im trying not to spend to much cause of a recent scam. The only other thing that makes me lean more for the 2.75 is that some buyers state that they are mandrel bends, and all the 3in systems I looked at NO NOT state there mandrel bends, so if I go with the 3in it may be a hit miss situation( I would rather pay 150 for 2.75 that I know is mandrel VS. a 3in that I dont). Sorry I know there are threads on this, I read a few. I know a 3in is the best. But im looking for a fast response with a answer to my particular situation if you know what I mean. I want to order soon. Thanks.
