3in downpipe to (2.5-2.75in)exhaust bad?????

I was looking at downpipes on ebay and saw the tsudo ones that go 2.5 to 3in. I was wondering is it bad for the exhaust flow to have 3in b4 the end of your exhaust if its only 2.75? By the way i have an Apexi world sport exhaust.

I always believe that your flow diameter is only as good as your smallest kink.

I'd honestly wouldn't even be bothered if it necked down ..

I have 2.5" from turbo to where it bend around then tank then it goes to stock and back to 2.5" before the muffler.


so is it basically like I have stock exhaust?

I had the same setup with a 2.5 to 3'' RRE downpipe to an apexi n1 exhaust - when I added the DP i felt a world of difference in power. I say go for it.

Thanks guys. If I can get a deal on the N1 downpipe im getting that (2.5-2.75).
