3in in / dual 2.5 out??

I'm trying to build an exhaust and want to use the piping kit from VRS and I'm not a huge fan on the 4 or 5" tailpipes that come on most mufflers for our cars.
Does anybody know of a good muffler that has a 3" inlet and dual 2.5" outlets??

Search around for Magnaflow 14588, thats your part number.

The magna flow site lists distributors that sell for less than list. Jegs or Summit could probably get it for much less. Jegs lists a 2.5" in and dual out in SS for $109. Mark

Hey I would say before you go buy a new exhaust go to your local muffler shop and see how much they would charge you to make it for you. We have a local guy here in kansas that will make an exhaust system for CHEAP. Oh and why 3" if I were you I would just go with 2.5" all the way back or else your gonna boost creep and you DONT want that. I just say that because I see you are still on the stock setup in your profile.

um. . . no. there will be no boost creep. if anything, it will help him spool faster with less exhaust restriction.

I have a full 3" turboback with stock turbo/fuel/timing/ecu...and i have NO boost creep.

I don't forsee any boost creep with just a 2.5" outlet.

also try maganflow #14221 and 14288 there both shorter than the 14588 but still 3" in dual 2.5" outlet.

I have #14298 which is an 18" body like #14288. A 14" body would fit easier but the 18" is quieter. Jegs could order what you want as they sell them. Mark

i presonily reccomend this muffler from Dynomax. go to summitracing.com and searh for part # WLK-38411. it goes into a 2.5" inlet (but you can get different sizes im pretty sure), then splits into 2 side-by-side chambered mufflers with 3" tips that angle up a little. its really hot.

That muffler has baffles....Isnt that what us turbo guys DONT want? How do they sound and perform on a turbo car? The baffles reminded me of Flowmaster.
