I've got a 96 Eagle Talon ESi with a tired 2.0L DOHC motor / 5 spd. I've found a 2.4L DOHC motor from a Sebring with low miles at my local salvage yard that i can get cheap, but i've got a couple questions first. Will the flywheel on my 2.0 motor just swap over or do i need a different one? And does the 2.0 head just bolt right on or do you have too modify it in any way (water passages, oil holes, timing belt size, ect...) Any info would be of great help, just wondering if it would be a simple swap or any mods have too be done. Also what kind of power gains could i exspect too gain from this swap. The cars just got basic bolt-ons right now (cold air intake, header, custom exhaust, ported TB). Thanks for any info and help.
