2.4l 35r combo?

So I have been thinking more and more about going 2.4l and i was thinking of a turbo upgrade to compliment it. A guy down here is 2.4l with a 3076 making 598hp, so i was thinking same set up but with a 35r. I know the spool its going to be slower than the 3076 but how much? Is anyone running this setup or one like it with a 35r sized turbo?

As far as spool time, should be about 300-400 RPM's slower I would say.
