2.4l? help?

im about to buy a 2.4l short block...what year motor should it be to put it in my 93 eclipse i wana build a 2.4l with a 2.0 head...i also need some tech help..i just learned of this swap and need someone to walk me through it what i need what i dont need etc...any help would be great

Is your car a 2.0L nt? Why would you want all that torque in FWD?

Can't imagine buying a 1g gsx/tsi awd with a blown motor would be any more expensive than doing all that work to a n/t. Save yourself the hastle and go that route instead.
