I'm thinking of running a 2.4 block and 2.4 crank in my car, .40 over, with a 35r or borg warner s366.

Also, I have a built 1g head. Not ported, but oem-sized ss nitrated valves, 272/272 cams, BC springs & retainers, etc.

Can that head fit onto the 2.4 block, or would I need the actual 2.4 head?

that will fit. you will need a 2.4 timing belt, adjustable or 2.4 com gears, and a larger bore head gasket made for the application. (cometic makes one)

With the timing belt you need the 94 galant DOHC 2.4 timing belt not the standard SOHC 2.4 timing belt.
