Is there any way to tell the difference between a 6 bolt 2.4l crank and a 6 bolt 2.0l crank? I have two cranks and one is a 2.4 and I think the other one is. 2.0 but there isn't really any difference. If someone could help me out before I take it to the machine shop I would appreciate it!!!! Thanks

Lay it on a piece of cardboard
mark the crank centerline
mark the rod journal centerline
measure between the two

88mm = 2.0
100mm = 2.4

If you know for sure one is a 2.4, lay them side by side on a flat surface resting on the counterweights then lay a level across the rod bearing surface.

The cranks have a casting ID, If your machine shop is a member of AERA he will have access to those codes

But for your info and others these are the ones up to 2003 but there could be more.
