So I spun a rod bearing on cylinder 4 of my 2.0 and I'm currently rebuilding my motor for a 2.3 set up.

I'm just wondering if anyone can offer me any tips.

I'm planning on hot tanking the block and doing assembly myself. I'll be using an oem 4g64 crank, eagle rods, and cp pistons as I was able to get a good deal on everything. My turbo is a t3 PTE 6262 .82ar

Is there anything else I would need to do as far as modifications or assembly tricks? i.e. line boring the block, oil squirter modification?...

Would 600hp be achievable with this build on 93 pump gas pushing 27 psi with a built 2g head and some crower 272s and evo lll IM as well as arp rod, main and head studs/comp hg and acl main/rod bearings? I'll be only revving to 7300rpms.

Thanks in advance for the help!!

And if anyone knows of a good reputable machine shop in the Austin, TX area with DSM/EVO experience to have my block cleaned up and possibly bored (won't know if I'll need to as the motor was previously rebuilt but I have .20 over bore pistons so if the block wasn't touched I would obviously need to have it bored} and won't charge me an arm and a leg for the work it would be very much appreciated
