so, i had a dream today....

so, my friend has a 2000 civic si with ehxhaust/short ram intake/ headers

and we were just cruising around because we just got our cars fixed after all winter, and he just got done racing a pontiac gtp...not sure what kind though, but he won, and then the pontiac turned because he saw a cop ahead, but we just kept driving, the cop pulls this guy over that was like 15ft ahead of us while my friend was racing, lucky eh? well we are on this little bridge, and he smiles at me, because he knows what im thinking, so i drop it into 2nd and just take off, and im completley stock btw, and he guns on his and im just keep kickin his ass, but i had to slow down due to the bridge ending a possibility of cops. But i had a good 1 1/2 car lengths on him and we just going about 80mph and then we pull up to a stop light and hes just laughing, saying i dont wanna race anymore...so i walked away with my first kill. hooray me . But Again, it was juts a dream

then i woke up...

As noted, congratulations on your stock vehicle taking down an upgraded civic, but street racing is not encouraged here. We try to remain as positive as possible and maintain a level of professionalism that keeps others viewing motor clubs a as a positive force.

Street racing not only can cause problems, it gives those who enjoy motorsports a poor image. I completely support taking a mountain road in a rural area and enjoying the technical maneuvering. There's a saying around here, "Take it to the track." And if you want to really find out what your ride can do, throw down $20 and get some real times recorded.

i believe like 6 (six) posts ago, i said ALRIGHT I GET IT, why should i be embarrassed? cause some guys on dsmtuners told me to use common sense and not post up street racing threads. dude, idc. i wont do it anymore. I got it the first time. And for Wisconsin only having cows...mostly but i live in Wisconsin Dells, a big tourist town in the summer, not in spring though its dead.
Also im from Chicago, just moved to Wisconsin a couple years ago, movin back to the chi for college soon.

and yes, i believe i could take him at the track. I could launch on him like...idk even no what, his tires spin like a mofo. i just GO. haha
