1st complete build? just wondering what u guys think

hey guys I'm on my second dsm and this will be my first complete build. I just purchased a 91 gsx with motor, trans, ecu and driveshaft out of car . I purchased of course all maintance parts timing belt, water pump head gasket etc. But I have also purchased a few aftermarket and performance parts such as a frontmount act 2600 arp head studs evo 9 fuel pump 680 injectors apexi 3" turbo back exbaust 2g exhuaust manifold and a few other things I can't remember right now. I'm taking suggestions on any other mods I can possibly do that won't break my pocket! Thanks guys

I would recommend a turbo other than stock (unless you want to port it) or you will run into over boost problems from the free flow of the three inch exhaust. I hear its not as bad with running a cat with the exhaust. I ran into problems with the 14b when i went to a cat-delete 3 inch set up, I was boosting 20lbs when i wanted 10.... just saying

I assume you have something to tune with? Otherwise DSMlink or all your mods will have gone to waste.

I would def. add something to tune with, you can get jackal or ecmlink. Fi your not looking for crazy power you could get a palm pilot and an SAFC.

Ok cool I was actually thinking about getting an safc. Does it matter wich one?

14b's waste-gates are designed to function with back pressure, with a full free flowing exhaust the waste-gate will no longer function properly and will boost to whatever it wants

I'm gonna be be running about 17 18lbs so with that amount of boost on the 14b I don't think well I hope I won't get the creep. I know on a 16g at about 22lbs the boost creep is minimal if not at all eliminated

Are you running a 14b or a 16g?

Ah, so you already have everything set up and running I take it. Are you running a cat? Cause my 14b was useless once i got my exhaust
