ok so i work at an auto part store and i happened to look at the stainless steel flexpipes used for exhausts and thought they might work for a custom intake or to redo my stock intercooler pipes since they are strong, flexible and wont leak just wanted to see what u guys thought about the idea:hmm:

ROFL.. I guess that would work, except you need to weld/flange/lip it so the coupler would work with pressure.
The ribs inside would cause some turbulence,

The reasoning behind this would be to 'flex' a certain amount, I assume?
This would easily be solved with a silicone coupler, they can slack up at least 20* with creative mounting with a straight piece.

Thanx .....but it would be better than stock right i could even get a larger diameter and with hose couplers and a welded bead around it should be fine right

just getting my ideas out while i get my intercooler and pipe kit ......but if it wont help with anything then theres no point, just an idea i had and wanted opinions
