ECMlink 1st 3rd Gear pull

Just want some opinions on how you guys think there logs look. Attached are my first two third gear pulls on my rebuilt motor. I am not sure if my WBO2 is working properly.

What the heck do I use to open a .elg file? Windows search doesn't recognize the file extension.

download a copy of V3 & you'll be able to review the log.

Its been a while since my last post, since that time I got a tial 44mm external wastegate and a O2 housing to mount it on:

attached is the 3rd gear pull, It is not holding boost, but, it is wierd in that it seems to sit around 10psi(thats what it said on my mechanical guage, but in the log, it looks like it is from 0-3 psi on boost est) and then at 3600 RPM it shoots up to ~15 psi(also what it said on my guage, and is pretty close to what it is saying in the boost est.)

Anyone know why the delay in the spool? and alos any general comments about the log?

I didn't see an attachment, but you should have full boost around 3k with a 14b, done a boost leak test lately? Also the wastegate might be stuck open a little.

oh man, I looks like I messed up the attachment, Try#2.

I have done a boost leak test recently up to 20 psi, looked good.

How would I tell if the wastegate was stuck open at all?

you need to set your tps to 100%. Use the offset feature.

wexford eh. Check to see if your exhaust housing isn't cracked. This happened on my 14b and didn't hit full boost until 4500

Good call, I will update this, but how much of a difference will this make? Do you think this has anything to do with the wired boost characteristics I'm seeing?

I actually work in bentleyville, I work in the altavista business park.....


The exhaust housing is brand new FP manifold, but I will look it over, thanks.......

So I was doing some reading on here about wastegates not fully closing, and I realised I never put the valve seat in when I was installing my external wastegate

So I just went and installed it and took another quick run, my 3rd gear pull is posted, let me know if this is looking more normal or if I still have some issues.
