1gina2g help!!!!!!!

ok i just did a 6bolt swap in my 95 AWD and im having a few problems getting it to start and runi followed the steps that the 1Gina2G web page said to do. i know its gettin fire and fuel cause it sounds like its tring to backfire. the only plug that i dont have pluged in is the MAP since the 1g intake dont have a spot for it. any ideas or sugestions would be great!!!!!!!!!

You mean MDP sensor.Not MAP Did you get the correct Firing order???

Double check firing order and make sure the cam sensor isn't 180° out.

If your using the 1g coil pack the firing order remains the same,but if your using the 2g coil pack the firing order is opposite 2341.

yea the firing order is correct. ive figured out that #2 is dead and not firing but im gettin spark to it and it will hit on #2 every so often. im thinkin its something inside the motor

If you have no spark coming out of the 2/3 coil, it's not caused by something inside the engine. Swap it out with a coil pack you know works and see if that fixes it. If not, swap out the resistor pack for one you know that works, then double check your swap wiring (cam/crank angle sensor).

ok i got the car running and cylinder #2 is dead. i got fire and fuel to it but it wont hit. and also the car wants to idle at around 1800 rmp and it smells like its loading up. its not setting a code cause there is no check engine light. if the cam sensor is out 180deg. it wont start rite?

I have tried my CAS both in and out 180* and they both start and run. With it out, it just runs a bit rougher. Cars obviously will be different, but my guess is it should at least start.

ok so i figured out that the #2 injector was shot. switch it out and the miss is gone. now its has a high idle at 1800rpm and smells like its loading up. any thoughts on that?

Ill add my $.02 to that as well. Turn that BIS screw in to adjust the idle and then dab a bit of silicone sealant on it to make sure it doesnt back out (if you dont have the rubber plug that is).

The rubber plug (BISS cap) won't stop it from backing out without you noticing a change in idle. If the BISS backs itself out, I'd suggest replacing it and the o-ring. They're cheap enough.
