As stated in the video this is our 1992 Eagle Talon with the 4g63 NA. We are planning to add a power adder for next year I am apprehensive because I am not sure how long a turbo will take this type of beating. Saturday we run 9am to 630 pm and Sundays we run from noon to 530 at Gingerman. This video is from day on and of 4 out of 5 drivers. Its just about 5 min each driver. Any vendors looking to partially sponsor something like this and show how durable what they sell is Hit me up. I will be sharing more videos as I make them.

Nicely done. Looks like you're holding your own through the corners against the V8s. Are you setting up specifically for Gingerman or are you going to go to other tracks?

Based on my LeMons experience, you're better off making sure your car is reliable and then work on the suspension rather than add power. I've raced at HPR and Miller and a light, lower power car can hold its own as long as you're smooth through the corners. The other place that's worth spending on, IMO, is driver comfort. Coolsuits are HUGE, as are good radio setups.

Any 4-offs? Other miscellaneous black flags?

Thank you! We run at Autobahn, pitt, Gingerman, and next year Atlanta. As of now we have all the "comforts". I am ordering actual coilovers for the car over the winter which will help some more in the turns. We have upgraded the sway bars and added a rear sway bar, we have Nerdi Racing coms setup which works well. We did however have 2 black flags which Im sure we have those issues sorted out now. You are exactly correct we have no issues in the turns its the straight lines that get us.

I will say its cool seeing someone utilize the 1g nt platform. If rules allow I can see it holding up to boost pretty well, this was my third season putting boost through the stock non turbo 6 bolt bottom end. While I don't do any road course style stuff (my car is put together with the drag strip and highway racing in mind, straight line stuff) I will say I do beat the ever living crap out of it on a pretty regular basis from April to early November. This year was an exception as I had the car apart for a few weeks back in the spring getting paint and body work and had several issues over the summer months with stupid dumb issues and tune problems, the previous 2 seasons I put about 4000 miles on it each season. As of current it is the stock non turbo 6 bolt that came in the car, never been out that I'm aware, only thing done to it engine wise is a set of standard ARP head studs and BC 272 cams, otherwise stock the way it rolled off the assembly line including balance shafts. You would know better what turbo would be best for your type of racing, but I will say when I was on a 16g the biggest issue I had when it was turned all the way up was trying to race the car. Torque came on hard and fast so it was hard to drive and prone to break driveline parts left and right. I had to re evaluate and either put more work into my set up or upgrade to something with more lag that would be easier for my type of driving, I went with the more lag option. Don't know how much that helps influence your decision but hope it gives you some kind of idea!
