1G 1GA Talon -> 2GB Eclipse rear end conversion

Hello All! Thank you for accepting me into the group.

I wanted to start off by asking if a conversion from a 1GA, 1991, Eagle Talon to a 2GB Eclipse rear end conversion is possible? I don’t have a Talon just yet but I found one that someone is selling for really cheap near me that I am looking into getting and I want to change the rear end so I can do more customization with it.

I like the front pop up headlight set up the car has but I don’t like the rear end because I can’t find any aftermarket lights or housings for it. I have a couple other things I want to do to the car but I’ll wait to ask about those until I actually have the car.

I've never tried this but the profiles of 1G and 2G cars are quite different so I can't imagine it working without a lot of custom work.
