Usually I wouldn't argue with you, Defiant, but neither of those look like a 1G cooler.

His pics are correct i've done two mkiv i/c's in 1gs and both had i/c like the one labeled 1g in his pic. The 2g i/c has a bigger inlet and outlet than the 1g.

Talonted One is right on. The 1g core is thicker than the 2g, and it may or may not be wider.

The difference is not big enough to warrant switching from one to the other. Keep what you have and then get a good upgrade.
