Can someone post for reference, a picture of a stock 1g smic and a 2g smic? Or if there's already a post, just a link to it (sorry if i missed it, already searched, but just found supra smics or dejon tool ones...etc...I just need a pic of stock vs stock) Also, how much improvement is there really for a 2g car to have a 1g smic installed? Ie, how much more airflow...or how much larger is the 1g.....Again, just spec numbers, or a link would be great.

Thanks.

the 1G is thicker than a 2G SMIC, the 1G has smaller end tanks and outlets.

IMO I believe a 2G will flow better than a 1G. I have no data to back that up, but the bigger endtanks and inlet/outlet being bigger, would lead me to believe that.

So........is it even worth swapping a 1g smic into a 2g? It may be larger, but if it's more restrictive on airflow, wouldn't that somewhat void out the benefits?
Also, a question about a/f: If taking a 2g car, and swapping on a 1g bov, and 1g smic, is it going to affect the a/f ratio enough that I'd need a afc or something of the sort? I know that colder air = denser air = more air going in.......
