1g vs 2g pistons looking for real comparison

First off i have searched, here is a very informative thread about the topic

BUT i also am comming to road where pistons might need to be replaced and i'm not 100% sure on what to do. I understand how both 1g and 2g pistons differ and what would change in my car, the thing is i would like to see numbers and mabye personal experiences.

Could we find 2 ppl running same turbo but different pistons and see what there spool, boost, and WHP is.

Mabye a 1g on a 14b and a 2g on a 14b would be good since a 14b is a common upgrade for 2g's.

I hope you guys understnad what i'm trying to get across, I WILL search for more and go through some dyno records so find a decent comparison, but by posting this thread i hope it helps and makes things go quicker.

Well here is a start for you. Good stock 1G motor with the 7.8:1 compression 1G pistions, 160 to 170 compression numbers for all cylinders. Small 16g turbo, 17 to 19 psi by 3500 RPM, 12.8 in the 1/4.

1g stock motor with 155-150 across the board big 16g with a 6cm housing(had to switch because of broke bolts) 19psi by 3500rpms 12.7 1/4 time with no tune. I am sure I could pick up some spool time and a better 1/4 time with some tuning.

Back on my bone stock 2g motor, I had 185 compression across the board with 8.5:1 2g pistons. I had an evo 16g that would spike about 18psi by 3000-3200. I never brought that one to the track, so I have no other comparable numbers.

With my current motor w/9:1 compression I brought spoolup down under 3k with the mods in my profile.
