1g turbo ECU -> 2g nt MAS?

Just posting this question for a friend. He is currently running a 2g nt MAS on his 91 turbo talon (with a turbo ECU). He is running into a/f problems and running pretty lean, which is understandable because I am pretty sure he needs a 2g turbo MAS. Can anyone confirm this?

2Gnt? DSM? They are 420a engines, and are speed density, right?

Yes though, if you have a 2g mas, you do need to compensate with an AFC or bigger injectors.

The 2G nt does not have a MAS.
