I have purchased a full prothane kit for my 1990 Eagle Talon Tsi AWD M/T.

The size of the inserts are the same on the cam-side and trans-side. The cam-side mount fits perfectly, but the trans-side mount won't fit. I removed the stock metal ring from the stock mount.

Does anybody know of the part number for the trans-side protane insert? Purchased one (Prothane 13-501) that claimed to be trans-side separate from kit and still too big. Thank you!

Yup, 13-501 is what it's supposed to be. If you want to confirm, there should be numbers cast into the urethane (2 pieces of: 69052 plus a metal sleeve).

And something is up, 'cause the mount for the t-belt side (13-503) is NOT the same size as the tranny mount, it's a bit bigger.

I'll post pictures. Thank you for the replies. It's very odd 13-501 fits cam side but is far too big for transmission side. I'll post up pictures ASAP, thanks again for replies.

Doesn't even come close to fitting...

:banghead:

Does anybody know what the deal is? I figured there would be a difference between fwd/awd, auto/manual. I wonder if there is no such thing as a transmission side prothane mount for a 90 tsi awd m/t.
