1g trans in a 2g

So me and my buddies are swapping a 93 talon tsi awd trans into my 95 gsx due to me blowing a hole in my transmission a week or so ago. We came up with the bright idea to try and swap the bell housing so that all the mounts line up. Everything seems to be working out okay so far but I'm curious what kind of problems I might run into? Any input is appreciated!

Hmmm. what spline do you have in the gsx an on the 93 a 22 or 23. They need to match up or its not going to last long.

Both are 23 spline so everything seems to match and fit together fine but that was only a test fit.

I'm fairly confident that the engine mounts are different.

the mounts are different, a 2g has 3 mounts on it 1g's have 3 motor 1 trans mount.
