Is there a difference between the 1990 awd tranmission, and the 91-94 awd trannys??? if so what could it be

I think the linkages, cables, cable bracket and the shifter are all a hair different. Don't quote me on that one though. But since people have to convert to 90 stuff when doing jdm swaps to the 90 trannys, I think that is the only difference.
