On the 2g gs-t's what 5spd trannys will work, and which one is the best to get. I some how managed to put 2 holes in the housing of the tranny and need either the hole transmission or the bellhousing

If there is no damage to the internal parts of the transmission you could always just buy a new bell housing. It would most likely be cheaper than a complete transmission, and if you have decent mechanical skills you could just swap the parts over and be done with it. Or if you plan on making quite a bit of power this could be your excuse to upgrade to a built transmission. In the end it just depends on how much you want to spend and what your expectations will be out of the car.

Well I don't have to much money to spend thats my problem. I'd like to make close to 400whp on the stock bottom end but I dont know if I should do that with the 7 bolt, in theory the only thing I would have to change to avoid crank walk is replace the crank right, I shouldn't have to get a built transmission.

Either RRE or Magnus has a big writeup theory on crankwalk. Many people get away with it, give it a shot. As for a stock trans, if you are revving it real high, a stocker wont cut it for too awful long. It can most likely take 400 though.

Cool thanks, but what other transmissions can I use with the gst without changing anything like would any 1st gen trannys work or will a 2g awd tranny work because there are a ton of those for sale but i am not able to find any 2g fwd trannys .

Unfortunately you cannot use a 1g or stock AWD tranny with the 2g gst (different configurations, motor mount points). The only ones I know of that can modify a AWD tranny to work with the gst model are Shep transmissions and TRE, but then those are pretty pricey and you stated that you can't afford too much. You could always try mitsubishigraveyard.com, they may have a used one on hand for cheap, I was able to find a bell housing there when I rebuilt my transmission a while ago. Good luck.
