Hey now I looked for a bit but i thought id ask what difference, if any is there between a GALANT GSX tranny and a 1g TSi AWD tranny?

YES!!! Do not try and run the G-GSX tranny in your car! unless you have switched out the rear Diff. to the G-GSX one. The final drive ratios are different from your TSI. you will blow the center diff in the tranny. However, the GVR-4 trans will work and has a taller 1st gear.
