Anybody running this set?
I planned on replacing every gasket and seal I could while taking this head off, however I dont want to put crappy gaskets on their just to have them blow.
My crankshaft seal and camshaft seal were leaking to the point that it caused my timing belt to break.

The set comes with a headgasket as well, but I dont plan on using it. Im upgrading to a 16g, so does anyone know of any good headgaskets to support up to 25psi?
Although I dont plan on running more than 15-20.

See I get to many mixed reviews with Topline.
Im not rich, and this is my only car, so Id rather not cut corners anywhere.
If anything Id prefer overkill.
Hell, I'd buy a 400$ timing belt if it meant it was never going to fail.
Ive decided, OEM for all my gaskets, and as for the head gasket, is there anything thats better than stock? I actually planned on getting the head resurfaced for a clean seal anyways.

Since Ive decided on OEM gaskets all around, what about this head gasket, the

Will it work out for my application?
The car is pretty much gonna be stock for the most part, except 3 inch exhaust, dejon intake, MBC,and the small 16g.
Plan on pushing nothing more than 20 pounds ever. And most likely lower than that

Lot of the pieces in the top line set are junk, might as well be thrown away.

Just get a fel-pro, cometic, or oem set.

Don't waste the money or hassle with the meticulous prep work its gonna take to run an MLS gasket. Spend the extra $ on ARP head studs IMO in case you do want to go upwards of 25 psi one day...they aren't necessary with your current plans, but things change.

Alright, I can't say I mind the extra prep work though if it means the car will be more reliable. However if the stock gasket will work just as good I might as well. However I hear the standard arp head studs are pretty much the same as the stock 6 bolt studs. So I should probably get the l1s right?

Keep in mind this work is being done with reliability, and longevity in mind first. Then performance

Its the deck surface that will be the problem, since you should pull the block to get it resurfaced properly. Pass on that unless you have the motor out IMO.

You can probably just run the stock bolts. If you ever decide to run really high boost down the road then you can always replace them one at a time then...

Ill get the head resurfaced. And ill do a oem composite headgasket.

@MY1GLaser
Im going to use the L19s for safe measure. They wont hurt, and chances are ill be able to reuse them. 2 years down the road.
You do have a point though, if im strapped for cash ill just go with the regular arps.
I still have to see how much damage the timing belt has caused.
If the pistons, valves, and all that are still good, Ill go L19s.
But MY1glaser you do have a point, i could just replace em later

However im trying to figure out what additional gaskets and seals ill need.

Im assuming they are pretty much the same, but both sites dont have a complete list of gaskets it comes with.
I need the camshaft seals and front crankshaft seal. As well as a OEM composite headsgasket.

Timing belt so far is the only issue I had with topline. Pistons and gaskets water pump oil pump bearings have all been just fine. If you wanna good belt go with a power enterprise timing belt. About 160$+ or a gates for 140$.
